The Green Bay Packers have been working out in California, including Jordan Love, Aaron Jones and a number of key offensive contributors.

As tired as Green Bay Packers fans might be of hearing about Aaron Rodgers, the success or failure of this season will ultimately fall on the shoulders of Jordan Love, and how he compares to the future Hall of Famer now in New York. Sure, it's not a fair assessment. In fact, it's likely rigged against him. But Love is not the first nor will he be the last QB to be judged based on a comparison to his predecessor.

For Love's part, though, he seems to be acing the offseason. Love and a number of Green Bay players are working out in California in preparation for the team's training camp.

Packers: Jordan Love is acing the offseason

Love has won over the Green Bay locker room already. With his limited experience entering this season, the roster turnover has done the Utah State product a favor. Players now know this is Love's team. That includes running back A.J. Dillon:

"I think he definitely has all the intangibles," Dillon said. "He's earned the trust of the locker room. Guys respect him. Guys wanna play for him. Guys wanna help him as much as they wanna help themselves. Nothing's perfect in football, everybody knows that. I think he's got a lot of support. Everybody would run through a wall for him."

Dillon has spent his entire career with Love, as both were members of the Packers 2020 NFL Draft class. Dillon also believes that Love's previous exposure to the starting unit has helped him immensely, as the respect factor which is often needed from such a demanding position is already in place given his experiences both good and bad.

Offseason workouts can only help grow that level of respect and assurance. Love has done his job.
