Countless eyes were on Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love on Thursday night, as Cheeseheads everywhere were hoping he'd be able to make a statement in a showdown with the Lions. However, the opposite was the case.
Love struggled throughout the night and the Packers suffered a rough 34-20 loss to the Lions. In the loss, Love tossed for 246 yards and a touchdown, while rushing in for another score. However, he also had two interceptions.
The turnovers were a disappointment, including Love's first. On that play, he tried hitting a pass-catcher with several Lions defenders draped all over him. It was a silly decision. His second INT came in the red zone, which was brutal as well.
Love is still a young quarterback and he certainly has a bright future, but he has to make better decisions. His inconsistent play has been disappointing.
