Ken Jennings took a chance to remind everyone of the lavish collections including an Armani suit and a priceless wine

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The 'Jeopardy!' Masters competition is well into its second week with the self-appointed gameshow villain James Holzhaeur and Andrew He securing a spot in the semi-finals scheduled for next week on May 22 and 23. The prize money is a hefty sum of $500,000 and Amy Schneider, Matt Amodio, Mattea Roach, and Sam Buttrey are still fighting hard to make their place in the semi-finals. Despite being a contestant-centric competition, the latest episode of ‘Jeopardy!’ Masters became a platform for its host Ken Jennings to show off his lavish belongings to the people.

The Tuesday night’s (May 16) episode of ‘Jeopardy!’ Masters saw Andrew He come up against Mattea Roch and Professor Sam Buttrey. Ken playing his duties as a host introduced a rather personal category titled, 'Ken Jennings International Nerd of Mystery.' The clues handed out in this category weren’t facts about Ken’s life but rather showed all the expensive and luxurious items in his possession. However, the sheer brazenness of the questions wasn’t appreciated by many.

'Jeopardy!' is CHANGING: Here's what you need to know about revamped game show

An Armani suit and a $200,000 vintage wine

Ken appeared chirpy while introducing the category that included a personal touch of his never-ending narcissism. A clue for prize money of $1200 read, “This Battlestar Galactica helmet will pair nicely with my $3200 black peak satin tux by this designer from Piacenza Italy.” It took a while for the contestants to digest the absurdity of the question but Andrew came up with the correct answer when he said, “Armani.”

It didn’t stop there. Another clue that boosted Ken’s ego read as, “This 1869 bottle from this 2-name chateau in Pauillac France! It's worth six figures and will certainly be savored during our Dungeons & Dragons game.” No one buzzed in to answer the question. All of them were clueless which allowed Ken to come up with an obnoxious remark. “You're not invited now — it's a Chateau Lafite Rothschild.” This vintage Bordeaux has a whopping price of $200,000. Before he was a host, Ken has the tag of the most successful contestant in the history of the show, taking close to $4,370,700 in cash, which includes his winnings from tournaments and $2,520,700 which he acquired after enduring the longest winning streak in the show.

Fans are put off by Ken Jenning’s cockiness

After the questions were aired on ‘Jeopardy! Masters,' many fans watching the show weren’t impressed by Ken’s attempts to massage his ego. One commented, "Did I understand that clue right, Ken’s suit is $3200?!?!” while others took it up a notch by speaking their minds on Ken’s lavish collections. "That's nothing. Apparently, he drinks 6-figure bottles of wine (if I understood that clue right).” “Like the guy in the $3200 Armani suit is going to spill Chateau Mouton Rothschild on himself. COME ON!”

Ken might be the most successful contestant in the history of the competition but he is surely not the most adored at the moment.
