NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Margaret Josephs blasted off on Teresa Giudice during Part 2 of the 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' Reunion, saying that her husband Luis Ruelas hunted her son and threatened him at work. Viewers instantly flocked to social media to criticize Teresa, claiming she is intentionally avoiding seeing red flags in her spouse.
Teresa and her husband Luis had a rough second half of the 'RHONJ' Season 13 Reunion. Not only did Rachel Fuda say that Luis had someone search down and contact Jaiden's birth mother, but Margaret also disclosed that Luis called and threatened her son. Teresa seemed to be clueless about what they were saying, but in the season finale on May 16, viewers watched Luis gleefully confess that his pal Bo Dietl (a retired NYPD investigator) "knows s*** about everybody in this room."
"There was information found about what prison she’s in, [and] where she was," Rachel admitted to the group when Andy Cohen inquired about what had occurred. When questioned why she believes Luis was the one who had someone hunt down Jaiden's mother, Rachel confessed, "I was told this by somebody very close to me," but it wasn't one of her co-stars.
Teresa and Melissa make Andy lose his cool
When Andy questioned Teresa why Luis would want to find Jaiden's real mother, Teresa smiled and responded, "No idea." She then deflected by blasting Margaret, who was assisting Rachel's defense. "Look who’s talking, [and] who’s calling the kettle black. That’s all she does is — you live and breathe by trying to find out information on people," Teresa explained.
Margaret stated that she would never employ a private investigator, and Teresa's strongest defense was that she did not have the money to do so. The jab obviously didn't assist Teresa's case, as it appeared to reveal she and Luis did hire one, but Teresa then claimed Margaret "started" it all by trying to air Luis' dirty laundry on TV "last season". So, even though Teresa appeared to have made apologies to Margaret at the start of this season, she plainly still harbors resentment.
Margaret later stated in the episode that her son "was called and threatened at work by Luis." Teresa was bewildered once more as if she was hearing the facts for the first time. Margaret went on to say that she had "phone records" proving it, and that "Teresa knows it." Melissa Gorga described it as "freaky s***" when Margaret retrieved phone records from an envelope.
Teresa was distracted by something on her phone as Margaret was presenting the receipts, which we believe may come into play later. But, before we get there, Margaret stated that her son was "called by name and threatened." "I'm the guy you need to be concerned about," the person on the phone informed her son. Margaret then displayed the phone records, which appeared to establish that Luis contacted her son's office because they included his phone number.
Teresa confirmed the number matched Luis', but she claimed the call was most likely a kind of "spoofing," in which hackers disguise themselves by contacting you and posing as one of your contacts. Andy stated that she may be correct, but when this occurs, and you pick up the phone, you do not hear anyone speaking.
In this situation, Margaret stated that her son was spoken to by a real person -- someone who contacted him using Luis' phone number. Teresa stated that hackers may chat with you, which she has experienced in the past, but Melissa made a point of implying that for the "spoofing" to be feasible, Margaret's son would have had to have Luis' number already stored on his phone, which is unlikely.
Teresa refused to continue the conversation, just saying Luis could respond when he came out on stage. "He would not call her child — please," she begged, but Margaret maintained it was "true."
Margaret went on to say that she informed Dolores Catania about the event in April 2023, and Teresa was upset that Dolores didn't tell her. Dolores stated that Teresa already "knew," and that she "wants nothing to do with" the issue "at all."
Teresa immediately interrupted Andy and told him that she had "two missed calls from Margaret Josephs" while they were recording the Reunion. She was attempting to demonstrate that the calls to Margaret's son were part of a "spoofing" hack, but Rachel was quick to point out that "Luis is watching" backstage, so she most likely altered his name in her phone and requested him to contact her twice while they were shooting. It was a clumsy attempt to clear her and Luis' names that failed. Especially when the call Margaret's son heard was on a landline — "a business phone that no one has the number."
Teresa then called Margaret the "devil," while Margaret called Teresa a "criminal" — and "so is [Luis]," she added. Teresa, who spent 11 months in prison, couldn't believe she was being labeled a criminal.
'100% believe Luis stalks these women and his ex'
Fans took to social media to call out Teresa as they slammed her partner, "Louie is going to help Teresa right back down the road to fraud and jail….The red flags are waving. He’s a taller version of her ex husband…"
Another person chimed in, "When Louie and Teresa divorce she will blame everyone for not pointing out all the red flag all the while sitting there hearing what a creep he is." One user felt, "I’m so glad the guys are speaking up against Louie’s bulls***t also. This dude is terrifying and Teresa is brainwashed." A fourth user tweeted, "We thought Joe Giudice was scary but boy oh boy does Louie take the cake. Lord have mercy for anyone who crosses him."
One fan tweeted, "I 100% believe Luis stalks these women and his ex." Another user noted, " Let’s be real. Louie is a clout chasing fan. Periodt…." One user quipped, "Margaret has less money and Teresa said she can’t afford Bo Dietl like Luis can…..You walked right into that one Teresa."
One fan claimed Teresa was blindsided and said, "I don't think Tre even knows luis does all this stuff to other cast mates, she looked genuinely surprised when Rachel said that. It's sad to see a woman get manipulated. She's gonna feel stupid in a few years when he destroys her and she defended him."
Reunion Part 3 of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' airs at 8 pm ET on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.
