Michael Oher’s allegations have put an unfavorable spotlight on the Tuohy family almost 14 years after the initial release of the feel-good film ‘The Blind Side’. Oher filed a legal petition to terminate the conservatorship alleging that he was made to believe he was being "adopted" by the family, per People.

Michael Oher last played football for the Carolina Panthers but was released by the team in 2017 following his injuries. In 2022, Oher married his college sweetheart Tiffany Roy in November 2022. Sean Tuohy is the co-author of the book ‘In a Heartbeat: Sharing the Power of Cheerful Giving’ along with his wife. He is also the co-founder of the charity ‘The Making it Happen Foundation’ that he runs with Leigh Anne. Drafted into the NBA at a young age, Sean later “became a successful entrepreneur building a company that now owns and operates fast food restaurants including Taco Bell, KFC and Freddy’s," per Leigh Anne's website. Collins Tuohy

Collins Tuohy attended the University of Mississippi and passed with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism. She is the co-owner of Whimsy Cookie Company and is married to Cannon Smith, brother of ‘The Blind Side’ producer Molly Smith, per People. Oher attended Collins’s marriage with Smith in 2016 where the NFL star was seen wearing matching hats with the bride at the dance floor. Collins is a board member of her parents' foundation.

Sean Tuohy Jr.

Sean Tuohy Jr. earned her graduation degree in Communications with a specialization in journalism and marketing from Loyola University Maryland. He also has a master’s degree in Humanistic Studies at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. He earned his doctorate in business from Liberty University. As a university student, he played both football and basketball. Currently, he serves as the Director of Football Operations at the University of Central Florida. Apart from being the Executive Director at The Kingdom NIL, he is also a board member in his parents’ charity.
