'I might have to drop a Hottie Bootcamp sometime soon,' teased Megan Thee Stallion on her workout regimen

NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA: Megan Thee Stallion may not be releasing her new music anytime soon, but the performer is keeping busy with live concerts! The Grammy-winning rapper is next planning to headline the closing night of the Essence Festival of Culture, and she candidly talked about her new favorite thing, working out! “I’m really proud of my journey. Fitness has become a part of my lifestyle. I’ve been disciplined and committed to working out on a regular basis and investing in my health,” said the ‘Thot Shit’ singer.

She made her social media return in March, after the conviction of rapper Tory Lanez in December for shooting her in 2020. Her return made headlines as the artist posted 10 images on Instagram with a sculpted look. The pictures comprised hot bikini selfies and a mid-workout photo. Stallion also made her appearance at Vanity Fair’s Oscars After Party. The 28-year-old joked that she may have to share her workout regimen soon, “I might have to drop a Hottie Bootcamp sometime soon,” said the rapper who also enjoys spending time, “Journaling, praying, spending time with my dogs, working out, binging my favorite shows and just doing activities that make me happy.”

'I love performing'

Stallion who last performed at the Final Four in April and recently at the LA Pride Festival, said, “I’m looking forward to keeping the moment and positive energy going at Essence Fest. I love performing and I know my Hotties are going to pop out in New Orleans, so we’re going to have a blast together and make it a vibe.” The music festival is put on by leading Black women’s publication Essence Magazine, and its parent company Essence Ventures is also the largest in the country with a draw of 500,000, reports People.

'I want to be known as someone...'

The upcoming gig scheduled in New Orleans June 29-July, will feature Missy Elliott and Lauryn Hill. “It’s still very early in my career, but when it’s all said and done, I want to be known as someone that put her heart into everything and stayed true to herself,” opened up the rapper. “I want to be recognized as more than an artist, I want to be respected as an entrepreneur and philanthropist that used her resources to open doors for women, set a positive example for others, and make the world a better place.”
