HENDERSON, NEVADA: The frequent controversial discussions on societal gender roles by former professional kickboxer Andrew Tate, also known as ‘Cobra’, elicits a great deal of rage on the Internet. His videos are deemed dangerous and influential, especially for young boys. However, many people continue to support his contentious viewpoints and regard him as a macho figure, while others don't approve of the content he posts.

Mike Tyson, a renowned boxer and one of the most well-known athletes in the world, seems to be neither his supporter nor criticizer. Although, the former boxer recently shared his two cents on the misogynistic influencer's 'confrontational content' during a podcast.

‘Strong man in a criminal perspective’

On the ‘PBD podcast’, upon being questioned, Tyson discussed the importance of a 'strong man' in a boy's life. He said, “We have to think about what perception of a strong man. He could be a strong man in a criminal perspective. That could be the strongest identity that he sees. So, he can go off on that level of crime as well.” When asked about Tate’s influence on the youth, Tyson answered, “You see this on Kevin Samuels, you see this on Andrew Tate, it’s just confrontational.” And continued saying, “Confrontation sells. And, we aren’t gonna stop this confrontation. This is going to become an era so we can continue to make money.”

‘Make money off people’s pain’

Tyson stated in the podcast that there will always be this conflict between the genders, and no matter the circumstances surrounding the conflict, persons like Andrew Tate will always try to profit from people's suffering. He continued by saying that any government or business that chooses to advertise would always portray the future of the nation in that manner. Advertisements will always have certain futuristic concepts, which may center on a specific minority group, race, community, or individuals attempting to immigrate to and live in one spot. These concepts are not simply hypothetical speculations, however; they are actual events that are happening all the time.
