Kiswani has advocated for the vilification and expulsion of 'Zionists' from communal spaces

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Journalist and social media personality Emily Austin revealed that she has been receiving death threats following a heated on-air debate with an anti-Israel activist regarding the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

The 22-year-old, who is also of Jewish descent and actively engaged in pro-Israel activism, engaged in a heated debate on 'Piers Morgan Uncensored' on October 24 with Nerdeem Kiswani.

During the debate, the latter questioned the assertion that a failed rocket launch by Islamic Jihad was responsible for the blast at al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City.

Austin's question on 9/11 angered Kiswani

Austin posed a question to Kiswani, asking if she condemned the 9/11 attack. In response, the Palestinian activist dismissed the line of questioning as "ridiculous."

Austin asserts that Kiswani initiated online harassment against her by posting pictures with a red triangle over her head.

"I really tried to keep it fact-based, unemotional, like this is what this is. She was yelling. She was talking over me, threatening me on Instagram with, like, a red arrow over my head, telling people how funny it was to put a bounty on my head. That’s not so funny," Austin conveyed to Fox News Digital.

According to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), Kiswani serves as the leader of 'Within Our Lifetime-United for Palestine (WOL),' a radical New York-based group that has openly endorsed violence against Israel through their regular posts.

According to the New York Post, she has advocated for the vilification and expulsion of Zionists from community spaces and has also expressed support for the dissolution of Israel.

Austin receives death threats Online

Some of the online threats against Austin include messages suggesting she "deserved" a bullet between her eyes, while another expressed the disturbing hope for her to be raped and killed.

She also received a DM stating, "You will be killed in the next few days."

"People are now violating my privacy, searching for my house address online and posting it or telling me I’m going to dox you if you don’t do X, Y, Z. And it’s like I don’t succumb to fear, that that’s not who I am. Like, you can threaten me all you want," Austin expressed.

"They’re investigating every single DM, every single post. And I’m really thankful they’re so hands-on and one phone call away 24/7," she added.

Currently, she has hired private security due to the online threats. Meanwhile, Kiswani has not yet commented after the outlet reached out to her.
