‘The Balcony Killer’

After Sergio Ciscar kills his parents, his entire life revolves around his sister, Noa. Unfortunately, she now lives with another family and hasn’t contacted him since the night of the murder. The main plot of the series explores the aftermath of Sergio’s life as he is released from prison after spending six years in detention. Although he is under probation, wearing an ankle bracelet, Sergio moves back to the same house where he killed his parents. Since his parent’s death, he has been known as ‘The Balcony Killer’.

The psychologist Ana runs her secretive investigation from a building that is right across where Sergio lives. When Sergio arrives at his house, it is revealed that Ana has put cameras all across his place, including the elevator, bathroom, front door, etc., which is weird and creepy.

The episode also gives a glimpse of the murder night when Sergio was investigated, showcasing his silence. No, he is not mute. He speaks, actually, but with those, he thinks are sympathetic toward him. Sergio hasn’t given any official statement of the accident and was ruled guilty. As Ana and her colleagues closely monitor him, following him every second, Sergio’s life gets more complicated. On one side, he is on the path to seeking forgiveness, but his murderous self also surfaces when he intentionally murders a worker at the greenhouse.

The suspense builds when a girl named Marta visits him and gives a number, which turns out to be the number for his sister. This intrigues Ana as she follows Marta and contacts her to get more information about Sergio. Ana finally lures Marta into her obsessive probe, but Marta’s first step into Sergio’s apartment might be the end of her.

Who is Marta and how is she connected to Sergio?

Marta, played by Cristina Kovani, is an admirer of Sergio Ciscar and deeply cares for him. After knowing about her identity, Ana enlists her help despite the danger she might be putting Marta in. Wait for the next episode to learn more about Marta’s importance in Sergio’s life, Ana’s progress in her investigation, and Sergio’s quest to find her sister, Noa.
