The Pokemon chosen for May's Community Day may shock, or rock, trainers: Alolan Geodude will be featured in the upcoming Pokemon GO Community Day.
Alolan Geodude Community Day
On Saturday May 21, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Pokemon GO players will have an increased chance of running into Alolan Geodude, the rock/electric type Pokemon. Players also have a chance of running into a shiny Alolan Geodude if they're lucky!
If players evolve Alolan Graveler, Geodude's evolution, during event hours or two hours after, they will receive an Alolan Graveler that knows the fast attack Rollout, which is making its Pokemon Go debut. It is a rock-type move that generates energy extremely quickly, which may make itself quite useful to players. To read about the event bonuses that will be in effect during the Community Day, check out the original post on PokemonGoLive.
For $1.00, players can have access to the May Community Day Special Research story, titled A Rocky Road. Something new is being introduced this time, though: tickets for things like Community Day Research stories can now be gifted by one player to another. Players can also get event-themed stickers featuring Pokemon from the Geodude line by spinning Pokestops, openings gifts, or purchasing the stickers from the in-game shop.
