Arsenal defender Rob Holding is attracting a significant level of transfer interest from the Premier League and across various top European leagues, 90min understands.
Holding, who surprisingly joined Arsenal from lower league Bolton in 2016 after making only 31 senior club appearances in his career to that point, has entered the final year of his Gunners contract – although there is an option to extend it until the summer of 2025.
The Englishman made 39 appearances in all competitions in 2020/21, but the emergence of Gabriel Magalhaes as a near ever-present starter in his second season and the 2021 arrival of Ben White pushed him down the pecking order. William Saliba's return from loan and breakout campaign in 2022/23 also further hurt Holding's chances of re-establishing himself with the Gunners.

90min understands that Holding will be allowed to leave the club before the transfer window closes at the end of this week. From the Premier League, Fulham have already enquired about the 27-year-old, while there is interest abroad from clubs in La Liga, the Bundesliga and Ligue 1.
Holding was an unused substitute for the Community Shield against Manchester City at the start of the month but hasn't even been named on the bench for any of Arsenal's three Premier League games so far. White and Saliba have been Mikel Arteta's preferred centre-backs.
Gabriel started all 38 Premier League games last season but had been the subject of interest from the Saudi Pro League this summer. 90min recently reported that neither he nor Arsenal showed any inclination to engage in such transfer talks and so a move is off the table.
