Rune Factory 3 fans will be excited to hear that a remake of the Nintendo DS title will soon be available on the Nintendo Switch. While the exact release date is still unknown, the remake will release in 2023.
Announced during the most recent Nintendo Direct, Rune Factory 3 is receiving a remake after more than eleven years after its original release. The third title in the series sees you play as Micah, a boy that has lost his memory, tasked with taking care of the town farm. Along the way, players will form relationships with many NPCs and fight various monsters in dungeons, not unsimilar to Stardew Valley.
Rune Factory 3 Special Coming to Switch in 2023
The remake of Rune Factory 3 releasing on the Nintendo Switch in 2023 will be called Rune Factory 3 Special. While there is still little known about the upcoming title, players can expect a graphical overhaul from the original game. Rune Factory 3 Special will also feature the large number of controller options inherent to the Nintendo Switch, making the game more enjoyable for everyone.
For those that have previously played titles like Stardew Valley and Harvest Moon but still have an itch for a similar game, the Rune Factory series has been around for many years and built a devoted following for its take on the now popular genre.
