An entertainment writer for Fox News Digital, Caroline Thayer, wrote about how Kelce issued an apology to Swift's father, Scott Swift, after a “concert flub.”

A few clips from Swift’s concert in Argentina went viral on social media, one of which included Kelce missing a high-five from Swift’s father.

As the Fox News writer detailed events from the concert and the aftermath of it, which took place on a podcast, the internet was quick to mock Fox News for the same.

On X, Fox News wrote, “Travis Kelce issues apology to Taylor Swift's dad Scott after concert flub.” Attached to this was an in-depth article written by Caroline Thayer where she claimed, “Travis Kelce is ensuring he has no bad blood with Taylor Swift's father, days after meeting him for the first time.”

In this report, the podcast ‘New Heights’ was referenced, where Jason Kelce, Travis Kelce’s brother, asked the Chief's player about the concert and the viral lyric change made by Taylor Swift.

Jason addressed the lyric and said, “You were so shocked you left Scott hanging. Scott's over here looking for a high-five.”

Fox News’ report focused on Kelce’s apology to Swift’s father, who attempted to high-five the football legend after the lyric change. Fox News Digital also shared clips from Swift’s concert in Argentina.

As the report continued to share details of Kelce and Swift’s relationship, including the viral kiss from the concert, the internet was more focused on the fact that Fox News reported on the matter.

Internet mocks Fox News for report on Swift-Kelce romance

After Fox News shared their report on Taylor Swift’s concert and the interaction between Travis Kelce and Scott Swift, the internet was quick to respond.
