LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Taylor Swift recently took to social media to share a sweet tribute for record producer and longtime friend Jack Antonoff, a new exclusive release of the track 'Sweeter Than Fiction.'

The song, which originally appeared on the soundtrack for 'One Chance' in 2013, was co-written by both Swift and Antonoff.

"There you’ll stand ten feet tall, I will say 'I knew it all along' [teary faced smile emoji] This song has always made me think of my friend Jack," wrote Swift, adding, "It was the first song we made together and watching him challenge himself and make beautiful art over the years has been the thrill of a lifetime."

"How can he be 6 years older than me and also somehow still be my precocious young son? We may never know," gushed the pop sensation.

She concluded, "'Sweeter Than Fiction (My Version)' is now available exclusively at Target on Tangerine vinyl." Swift also shared two photos with Antonoff, with one of the images showing them sharing a hug.

Shortly after Taylor Swift shared the tribute to Jack Antonoff, her fans rushed to praise their bond and friendship.

One wrote, "The bond you have is beautiful," while another stated, "Great friendship here!!"

"The power of music & friendship Heartwarming to see Taylor Swift connection with Jack & how they've grown creatively. Sweeter Than Fiction carries a nostalgic story behind it Its amazing how music can capture memories & emotions like that Time may pass but bond remains strong," expressed a fan.

A person said, "Proud of the two of you. Y’all have the cutest friendship & make the BEST music together."

"What a beautiful, admirable friendship," remarked another.

One fan noted, "I love the journey you two made together, it sure inspired many many people in so many levels is insane!! thank you for helping us creating so many incredible and meaningful memories with your art. this song was so important to me as a teenager as it is now"

"That's a heartwarming story about your friend Jack and your shared journey in music. It's amazing how music can connect people across age differences," stated another follower.

Some Swifties also took to Reddit to praise Swift's friendship with Antonoff.

"They have such sibling energy that literally no one has ever accused them of being together in a romantic way," mentioned one.

Another added, "Just love this so much. Their friendship is everything to me. What they’ve done together can’t be beat."

A fan explained, "Jack Antonoff is Taylor’s best collaborator because he can do any style of music that Taylor wants - it’s something that Max Martin, Nathan Champman or Aaron Dessner can’t do. Don’t get me wrong, they’re all great, but there’s a reason why Taylor says she will collaborate with Jack 'for life'."

One more wrote, "Taylor-Jack is my fav duo ever..I love everything they have created. My most fav Taylor songs involve his presence. He’s my favourite producer ever and I love his stuff with other artists too…like Lorde,Lana and Florence + the machine etc. He’s so talented.I don’t get the hate! They both have such a beautiful friendship!"

A person simply dubbed them their "favorite duo."

Swifties believe Taylor Swift's tribute to Jack Antonoff is in response to him receiving hate from some fans

While several Swifties gushed over Taylor Swift's friendship with Jack Antonoff, many felt that the pop star's tribute was in response to the hate the latter allegedly received from some of her fans.

As reported by Newsweek, some 'Swifties' criticized Antonoff in the past and claimed that he had taken Swift's songs and made them all have a similar pop sound.

Irrespective of the criticism, the duo continued to be best friends ever since meeting in 2012 and have collaborated on 10 albums along with a few one-off singles.

"This has got to be Blondie's way of telling people hating on Jack to stoooop. It's ridiculous that she had to do this," wrote a person on Reddit.

Another opined, "The Jack hate is so forced especially from the fans who blamed him for Style and New Romantics. He didn’t even produce those song which they would know if they even bother to read the credits. This is her subtly telling swifties to STFU."

"i feel like taylor is defending jack from unnecessary and BASELESS hate like this," commented a Swiftie.

One more said, "I was kind of surprised by all the hate on Jack's production! I feel like everything he touches turns to gold, he works with so many artists I love. And all the vaul tracks were amazing!!!"

"Good for her, I'm glad she's supporting her friend! The hate is ridiculous. I say it's hate because it's gone beyond fair criticism. I saw people blaming him for songs he didn't even produce," mentioned a person.

They added, "Some people just say this stuff because he's the popular person to dislike right now, and they know posting about him will get them clout. Mainly on Twitter and TikTok."
