LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Dwayne Johnson famously known as 'The Rock', iconic Hollywood actor and former professional wrestler, now has a waxwork figure of himself at the renowned Grevin Museum in Paris, France.

While the waxwork pays homage to Johnson's famous physique, tattoos, and signature bald head, it has stirred up a social media storm with fans suggesting that the figure bears a slight resemblance to Vin Diesel.

Grevin Museum's star-studded decision

The Grevin Museum in Paris, well-known for its exceptional waxwork figures of prominent individuals, had organized a public competition last year to determine which celebrity would be the next addition to their illustrious gallery.

The options presented to the public included A-listers such as Ariana Grande, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Dua Lipa, Elon Musk, Selena Gomez, Chris Pratt, and Margot Robbie.

However, social media users wasted no time in taking to various platforms to voice their opinions about the waxwork, resulting in a wave of playful trolling and speculation about what seemed to be amiss in the figurine.

Dwayne Johnson, Vin Diesel or Johnny Sins?

A user mocked on Facebook, "Rock diesel or vin rock." Another user commented, "Yea would be him if he showered with bleach!!" A user humorously remarked, "Color, Veins, muscle, smile, that's just Hawaiian Vin Diesel."

"The Rock sprinkled with Vin Diesel," read a comment

Another user opined, "Maybe a younger Rock. But he's definitely jacked," acknowledging the resemblance while noting the age difference.

In a more direct comment, a user stated, "'Something is missing'... Yeah the melanin from his skin," humorously addressing the wax figure's skin tone.

A user playfully suggested, "Looks like they started making Vin Diesel and then remembered it’s supposed to be The Rock," alluding to the shared features of the two actors. S

omeone humorously coined the figure as "That's Dwayne Diesel," further emphasizing the likeness between Johnson and Diesel.

A user jokingly proposed, "Bit more tanning and we’d be happy," in a light-hearted comment on the waxwork's appearance. Lastly, a user playfully compared the wax figure to Johnny Sins, saying, "I'm sorry if my remark is too wild. But that statue does resemble Johnny Sins. A lot." "Thats a 'white' Rock!" mocked another.
