LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: As Rachel Lindsay joined ‘The View’ on Thursday, July 27, the co-hosts discussed aliens, heaven and earth, and everything in between, as a part of the ‘Hot Topics’ segment. According to CNN, officials and lawmakers have pushed for greater transparency on UFOs from the government. This headline has opened up a great deal of discussion amongst the co-hosts, especially Whoopi Goldberg.

Goldberg was the first co-host to openly talk about her belief system when it comes to life beyond the human race, which shocked the co-hosts. Sara Haines, Joy Behar, Alyssa Farah Griffin, and guest co-host Lindsay all reacted to Goldberg’s statements about aliens and beyond.

‘We are not the only ones in the universe'

Goldberg announced the hot topic to her co-hosts as she read the cue card in front of her, “So, this ought to pique your interest. At a House oversight hearing yesterday, two former Navy pilots and a former intelligence official testified about the existence and risks of UFOs. Take a look.” ‘The View’ then played the clip from the hearing that included a conversation about UFO sightings, including non-human biologics which were previously found. As soon as the clip ended, Goldberg was the first co-host to speak up, “Well, I knew! I don’t know why everyone else is so surprised. We are not the only ones in the universe, we’re just not.” Goldberg earned scattered applause from the audience before her co-hosts chimed in on the topic, after which Goldberg also confirmed that ET is an alien, just not a real one after Haines mentioned him.

'There are more things in heaven and earth'

Behar also mentioned that American astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson would be joining them next week, which could only mean that Goldberg would talk more about aliens. In Thursday’s segment, Goldberg mentions aliens and even the Loch Ness monster, and how people have often dismissed their existence. To back her alleged claims, Goldberg said, “Here is the thing, there are more things in heaven and earth that we are aware of, and we have to be aware because that is the nature of being an earthling. It’s going to happen, it has happened, and so far, we’re alright.”

After she directly quoted Hamlet, Goldberg also claimed that so far in her lifetime she has not seen any of these sightings and believed that “they” are not adversaries. Lindsay double-checked with Goldberg if they really believed aliens were among us, and Goldberg agreed to the statement. In addition, when asked about ghosts, Goldberg once again said, “There are more things in heaven and earth…that means, I’m not saying yay or nay, I’m staying open.”
