LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘The View’ tries its best to balance politics, women’s talk, and some light-hearted humor from time to time. Usually, the humor is all thanks to co-host Whoopi Goldberg, but is ‘The View’ simply testing her patience now? Whoopi has a lot to say, and there’s no denying that, and sometimes she speaks more than she needs to. That’s why ‘The View’ has people on set beyond the co-hosts including Sunny Hostin, Alyssa Griffin, Ana Navarro, and Sara Haines.
Every time the co-hosts get together, it’s only a matter of time before one of them says or does something that catches everyone’s attention. This time around, and definitely not the first time, the spotlight rests on Whoopi as she claims she’s ‘done talking’ as the producers play the music twice, interrupting her.

‘You can tell by the music’
Whoopi might be one of the most humorous co-hosts of ‘The View’ but one can’t help but speculate the underlying tone behind her words and everything that escalates on each segment of ‘The View.’ Most recently, Whoopi was interrupted by the producers as they used the music that indicates the end of the segment, not once, but twice on the same show. The first time, with exasperated hand gestures and a sarcastic wide-eye, Whoopi says, “And here we go, we gotta take a break, you can tell by the music.”
The second time it happens to her on the same day, she goes, “Yes I see you, and I hear the music, this is why I’m not speaking anymore today.” This was accompanied by her waving to the camera, signifying she was done talking as her co-hosts and the audience laugh along. Whoopi had most definitely lightened the mood a little, but could these interruptions have anything to do with the rumors about her being pressured to quit ‘The View’?
Is Whooping being interrupted intentionally?
While people applaud Whoopi for her sense of humor, there is plenty of evidence indicating that her time on ‘The View’ might be coming to an end. The woman who once had a huge fan following for her work is now often ridiculed and mocked on social media, following her long stint on ‘The View.’ There have been plenty of rumors hinting that Whoopi has been pressured to quit ‘The View’ and these musical interruptions, while funny, could be a subtle nudge in that direction. How much longer can Whoopi tolerate being interrupted before she finally caves in and quits?
