Two people with Swedish nationality were shot dead in central Brussels on Monday evening, according to Belgian public broadcaster VRT.

The suspect has not yet been caught, reports in Belgian media say. The motive of the shooting is not yet clear.

The shooting comes with Belgium hosting Sweden in a Euro 2024 qualifying match.
