Today's USMNT rumors include Folarin Balogun being linked with a surprise move to Chelsea. Antonee Robinson is set to stay at Fulham and Christian Pulisic is close to joining Milan.
USMNT rumors: Folarin Balogun to Chelsea
Folarin Balogun to Chelsea is not a transfer that many were expecting. Then again no one expected Timothy Weah to join Juventus. Strange things can happen in soccer.
Football Transfers has reported that "Balogun's representatives have spoken to Chelsea about a possible move to Stamford Bridge."
The USMNT forward needs to leave Arsenal to make sure he gets regular game time. However, he is unlikely to get this at Chelsea as they have recently signed Nicolas Jackson from Villarreal.
There has been a lot of speculation about Balogun's future. According to The Daily Mail, "Italian giants AC Milan and Inter Milan, French sides Marseille and Monaco plus German's RB Leipzig have all expressed their interest in the 22-year-old."
USMNT rumors: Antonee Robinson's new contract
Antonee Robinson has been linked with some top sides including Manchester City, Marseille, Inter Milan and AC Milan. However, he is set to stay at Fulham for now.
The Athletic has revealed that "Robinson is close to signing a new contract with Fulham." This could be seen as Robinson lacking ambition but the Cottagers are a team that is on the up.
Under Marco Silva, they finished 10th in the Premier League last season and got to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup. Robinson is a key player at the London side and knows he will play regularly which will help make sure he keeps his place in the USMNT starting lineup.
USMNT rumors: Christian Pulisic to AC Milan
Christian Pulisic joining AC Milan from Chelsea appears to be almost completed. It is a smart move for the American who has struggled for game time at the Blues in recent seasons. He may have got a fresh start under Mauricio Pochettino at Stamford Bridge but a change of scenery seems like the best option.
Fabrizio Romano has today tweeted "AC Milan and Chelsea will have final direct contact on Friday to get Pulisic deal done. Milan, confident to have green light in 24/48h. Pulisic personally asked Chelsea to go and try new experience after multiple negotiations collapsed for his exit in 2022."
Serie A is a league that many Americans will be tuning in for next season. Timothy Weah has recently joined Weston McKennie at Juventus and Pulisic could possibly be playing alongside Yunus Musah in Milan. The Valencia midfielder has also been linked with the Rossoneri.
