Tucker Carlson traveled to Spain and led the socialist revolution as well as the widespread mobilization of conservatives

MADRID, SPAIN: Firebrand host Tucker Carlson was spotted amidst the large-scale demonstrators in Spain on Monday, November 13, attending the protests the conservative opposition had planned for over a week against Pedro Sanchez's socialist administration.

Millions of Spaniards have been protesting in the streets over the socialist government's agreement to pardon Catalan felons who attempted to break away from Spain with Basque Nationalists and separatists.

The agreement would restore to the socialist prime minister the authority he had lost in an election held in July, as per The Post Millennial.

Protests over amnesty deal for Catalan separatists erupts in Spain

According to the New York Times, the agreement offering secessionists amnesty is designed to provide Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez with sufficient backing to build a government and maintain his position of authority.

Thousands of outraged Spaniards flocked to squares nationwide on Sunday, November 12, in response to a summons from conservative parties, protesting the deal that Sanchez struck with secessionists to grant them amnesties.

Despite being a desperate and nearly futile attempt, the countrywide demonstrations did serve as a preview of the unpredictable political environment that Sanchez will need to navigate going forward.

A crafty politician known for his bold wagers, Sanchez, 51, sought an early election after his party was heavily defeated in May's municipal elections.

Rather than wait and lose more votes, he took a wager that he would have a better chance of winning sooner.

In order to maintain his position of authority, Sánchez made an amnesty offer to Catalan separatists.

"Sánchez signed the controversial agreement last week after the Catalan separatist Junts party gave its backing to the prime minister’s Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party (PSOE) to form a new government," Politico reported.

Protests against the pardoning of coup plotters

Protests against the plan to absolve Catalan politicians of their crimes for carrying out a parliamentary coup against Spain in 2017 are on their 11th day in the Spanish capital.

English-speaking media has been riveted by the Spanish rallies, witnessing unprecedented street mobilization of conservative politics in a European democracy rarely seen before.

Ever since the first demonstrations were staged in front of the Spanish Socialist Workers Party (PSOE) headquarters at the beginning of the month, a sizable segment of the Spanish electorate has participated in them.

The Spanish government has deployed copious amounts of police since the protests started, blocking off the regions around the party headquarters in an attempt to keep the demonstrators away.

The Spanish National Police also stopped a sizable protestor group from setting up camp in front of the PSOE headquarters this past weekend.

The opposition's front-runner and most-voted party, the moderate-conservative Popular Party, staged a number of large-scale rallies on the province's key roads on Sunday, November 12.

As for the demands of the Junts and Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya parties, the government and its parliamentary alliance are determined to enact a measure that would grant amnesty to those who plotted the Catalan coup.

These represent a critical prerequisite for Sanchez to secure his congressional votes and reclaim the presidency.

Several legal institutions and associations cautioned against this reform, arguing that it would jeopardize Spain's independence of power and the rule of law, as per Voz Media.

Tucker Carlson spotted marching alongside Vox's head and protesters

The world has now been shown the Spanish Socialist coup in motion thanks to the assistance of American Journalist Tucker Carlson, who is arguably the biggest name in US news.

Carlson was spotted leading the leader of the conservative Vox political party in Spain as they marched alongside demonstrators. One demonstrator overheard Tucker saying he felt "sorry" for them.

He merely remarked, "In Madrid," on X (formerly Twitter) while posing with Santiago Abascal, the leader of the Vox Party.

In a video interview, Carlson told a woman that he chose to travel to Madrid because the protests there are "not getting the coverage it deserves."

When asked how he thought the world perceived Spain, Carlson responded, "Anybody who would violate your constitution, potentially use physical violence to end democracy, is a tyrant, is a dictator ... We thought it deserved more coverage than it's getting."

Carlson further added, "All this is happening in Europe. The world has not seen clearly that what is happening here these days is very important. I hope I can change that, " expressing his desire to have seen more attention in various international media outlets.

Internet baffled over Tucker Carlson at Spain protests

Social media users took to X to express their astonishment and support at seeing the American journalist and firebrand host amidst the protesting Spaniards.

One X user wrote, "Tucker is the man! You have to fight socialism wherever you see it."

A second one echoed, "Tucker Carlson is easily the most powerful media voice in America and probably the world."

"The future VP of usa visiting my country," a third one chimed in.

Another one hailed Carlson and wrote, "That is awesome! Tucker is always in the right location at the right time."

One more bravoed and wrote, "Trucker goes from making breaking news at an ultimate fighting event with Trump, White, and Kid Rock, to becoming an integral part of Spain's cultural revolution, capturing and recording history with his journalism within days of each other. Bravo!"

"Respect to America's only real journalist coming from America's only real anthropologist," typed another.
