According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Warriors have just traded Jordan Poole for Chris Paul. What will the depth chart and lineup in Golden State look like after the trade? What will the Warriors' lineup look like after this move?

This may be the first team that Chris Paul does not start for. In this deal, the Warriors are sending a first-round pick, a former second-round pick, and Jordan Poole for Chris Paul. This is the first unexpected move that the team has due to the new luxury tax terms in the upcoming CBA.

Poole obviously played poorly in the playoffs but some of this has to due with a preseason incident between Draymond Green and Poole, where the two fought after Poole got his extension.

What the Warriors starting lineup will look like with Chris Paul

Green is notably a free agent this offseason. It is unknown if Green will stay with the Warriors this offseason or go to another team to finish out his career.

PG: Stephen Curry

SG: Klay Thompson

SF: Andrew Wiggins

PF: Draymond Green (if he re-signs)

Center: Kevin Looney

Paul could start if Green doesn't come back. The lineup will be extremely small but it is possible. This also gives the Warriors a lot of flexibility. Honestly, this move feels very weird.

When Kevin Durant was traded to the Suns, it felt like a situation that would happen if you simulated ten years in NBA 2k. Now, it feels like we are living in an alternate timeline with Paul wearing a Warriors Jersey.

Paul will likely be the first guy off the bench for the team. The Dubs are able to get out of Poole's contract while taking on a player who can help lead the bench of this team. This trade also helps with their salary cap going forward.

The luxury tax is something that will end up being huge in the NBA after the new CBA.
