Nate Diaz and the Paul family have an ongoing conflict as he entered into a two-fight agreement with Jake when Logan was trying to fight him

STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA: Nate Diaz, a former UFC fighter, called out Logan Paul after he trash-talked Tommy Fury from the audience upon being handed the mic. Nate Diaz said that the YouTuber-turned-wrestler "needs his a** beat."

During Fury's split-decision victory over Jake Paul, Logan's younger brother, Paul was interviewed, and his remarks infuriated Diaz.

‘Needs his a** beat’

Diaz tweeted, “This guy needs his a** beat. And who let the spoiled lil b***h yell obnoxious s**t during the fight?”

Logan's trash-talking failed, as Fury handed Jake the first defeat of his boxing career. The verbal conflict between Diaz and the Paul family is an ongoing one, and this isn't the first exchange. Jake challenged Diaz to a two-fight agreement in January in which their paths would cross in a boxing ring and an MMA cage.

Logan has donned the boxing gloves for three matches, but he now seems to have diverted his focus. At WrestleMania 38 in April 2022, the 27-year-old made his WWE debut, and in June, the corporation declared that he had signed a legal contract.

‘You never had it locked up’

In an episode of Logan’s Impaulsive podcast, Logan questioned Jake about the Diaz fight. Although he believed the fight was "locked up," Nate had been "playing" him "like a fiddle" the entire time. Jake Paul, however, said that he tried to inform his brother and that he was aware of what was happening the entire time.

Jake told Logan, “You never had it locked up. I told you that. I told you he’s playing both sides. Basically, some of the people you work with… he doesn’t know what the f**k he’s doing. Like he does and he doesn’t.”

Jake Paul explained what he believed went wrong in the discussions without going into specifics. “Just throwing money at someone doesn’t make them want to do it. And at the end of the day, what it came down to, honestly, is that [Nate] thought the world would view our fight as way more legitimate than you. Him fighting you to him was like a money grab because you hadn’t beaten anybody,” he said.

Logan wasn't as involved in boxing as his brother was. In 2019, he engaged in one professional fight, losing by decision to rapper and fellow YouTuber KSI. Then, in 2021, he engaged in a well-publicized exhibition fight with Floyd Mayweather. The game ended with no one being crowned the winner.
