LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Can one affair lead to the destruction of everything you've built? It does for Nandi Mahlati in ‘Fatal Seduction', a forthcoming South African thriller series on Netflix. Nandi goes away with her best friend Brenda for a weekend getaway. This weekend changes the course of her entire life for the worse even though it might not feel that way initially. After grieving over her miscarriage and with some encouragement from her best friend, Nandi finds herself in the middle of an extramarital affair with a young and handsome man named Jacob. It doesn’t take long for Nandi to be seduced by him, but not everything that glitters is gold.

Nandi might be under the impression that this seductive love affair has given her nothing but pleasure, but she is mistaken. It isn’t long after the weekend that Brenda is found dead, putting Nandi in the middle of a murder investigation as she questions her whole life and everyone in it. ‘Fatal Seduction’ has a riveting plot served with a side of a stellar and attractive cast, including Kgomotso Christopher, Prince Grootboom, Thapelo Mokoena, and Lunathi Mampofu among others. With each cast member playing an intriguing character, it will be interesting to see what led to Brenda’s unfortunate death.
