UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA: 'The Voice' Season 24, Episode 3 will air on NBC on Monday, October 2, at 8 PM ET/PT. The show will run back-to-back episodes on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 PM ET/PT on NBC throughout the blind auditions and battle rounds for fans anxious to delve into the talent-packed competition.
As the season advances, the live shows will revert to a once-a-week frequency.

What to expect from 'The Voice' Season 24 Episode 3?
On the third night of blind auditions, coaches Niall Horan, John Legend, Reba McEntire, and Gwen Stefani compete to find and coach the next singing sensation.
In Minnie Riperton's performance of her legendary 1970s song 'Lovin' You', she reserved her magnificent whistle tone until the conclusion of the chorus.
However, if Riperton was a contestant on 'The Voice', she might have got a 4-chair turn at the start if she had shown that technique earlier in the song.
Well, contestant Chechi Sarai seems to know this and she played that card right away when she performed Riperton's song.
She starts the legendary song with a whistle note that nearly knocks the coaches out of their seats.
The voice technique gets the coaches — John, Gwen, Niall, and Reba — to press their buttons almost instantly.
The singer then sprinkles high notes throughout her performance and concludes with a run that spans the scale, up and down.
She goes much further with the whistling tones than Minnie did in her 1970s version.
"First of all, anyone who can do a whistle tone that we’re all blown away by–to start a performance and then drop back down into a verse, I wouldn’t even attempt…," Niall tells the 32-year-old Los Angeles singer.
He continues, "You set the bar so high for this competition, I can see the finalist in you already."
Reba concurs with Niall. "Your ability to sing is off the charts," she adds, adding, "but what I love so much is you’re having fun. You’re classy the way you do your hands. There’s a storytelling to when you’re performing. Your vocals are just insane."
"The thing about that whistle tone," John observes, "Sometimes it’s like a one-trick pony kind of thing. But what you really thrilled us with today is the fact that you have so much more to your voice than just that.”
He continues, “You look like a star. Your energy just felt like you belong on this stage, and you belong on 'The Voice' for a long time. Like all the way to the finale."
"What I loved about you was the love and confidence that you had on stage," Gwen adds. "You were in complete control of the whole room, and of my heart at the moment."
Gwen then added, "It felt like I was just watching a Grammys performance."
Each of the coaches is desperate to have Chechi on their squads.
Gwen feels that artists with technically excellent vocals, such as Chechi, might lose their individuality. She offers to assist the singer in "get inside" her "heart" and discovering her uniqueness.

Ephraim Owens
Ephraim Owens, 36, lives in Carmel with his wife, Elizabeth McRoberts Owens, and they have two children.
Ephraim, who grew up in Indianapolis and was an MMA fighter for six years, now works on a concrete block machine for a living but keeps the music playing in the background as it churns 600 pounds of cement.
His grandmother sang backup vocals for Marvin Gaye and Al Green, while his father was a music minister.

Joslynn Rose
16-year-old Joslynn Rose is from Lake Benton, Minnesota, where she lives with her parents and eight sisters in a house with just one bathroom.
They have fostered over 20 children in the past, and they are now fostering three.
Kristen Brown
24-year-old Kristen Brown of Roseville, California, has been a solo artist for the past two years. She began her musical career at the age of 13, when she formed a band with friends from her voice training school, Auburn Road.
That band later opened for Toby Keith, Mogan Wallen, and Rascal Flatts.
Juliette Ojeda
Juliette Ojeda, a 20-year-old first-generation Cuban-American, has made a startling debut on ‘The Voice’.
She was born and nurtured in the dynamic city of Miami, where she was exposed to a diverse cultural background, with salsa and mariachi music serving as the soundtrack to her childhood.
This impact can be seen in her concerts, as she expertly combines several genres to create a really distinct musical approach.
Jenna Marquis
Jenna Marquis has always wanted to be a singer, ever since she was a child. She took up piano and ukulele after being inspired by her father, who plays many instruments and has been in bands her whole life. She is now learning guitar.
Jenna, an 18-year-old from Chula Vista, California, is now creating and producing music, performing locally three to four times a week, and has about 170,000 TikTok followers.

Despite her learning problems, Sophia Hoffman, 18, of Chula Vista, CA, is starting her second year at Chico State University to study communication and public affairs. Sophia is eager to make a return after getting no chairs to spin in Season 23.
Alexa Wildish
34-year-old Alexa Wildish from Lyons, Colorado, has a beautiful mountain-stream voice with songs that are so intimate that it's as if she's reading her notebook aloud. Her self-titled EP was recorded at Goosehead Palace with producers Dan Knobler and Russell Durham, and it features musicians like Ruth Moody (Wailin' Jennys) and Jordan Tice (Hawktail).
Olivia Minogue
19-year-old Olivia Minogue from Lockport, Illinois, works as a receptionist at a dentistry practice, and her coworkers are very supportive of her singing career. She now helps by conducting workshops, putting up stages, and even helping with costumes and cosmetics.
Julia Roome
13-year-old Julia Roome performs the national anthem several times a month and has been in an off-Broadway production as well as several regional ones. Julia lives only 90 minutes from New York, so she's had the opportunity to perform at both the Friars Club and amateur night at the Apollo, where she's won twice.

Jordan Rainer
33-year-old Jordan Rainer from Nashville, Tennessee, has performed as an opening act for the Eli Young Band, Hunter Hayes, Craig Morgan, and Luke Combs. Jordan has also written for Sundance Head, a former 'Voice' contestant who has performed her song at the Grand Ole Opry and pushed her record to No. 1 in Texas.
Jackson Snelling
21-year-old Jackson Snelling from Austin, Indiana, is a talented songwriter who dedicated 'Please Listen', a song and music video, to his late father. Jackson is dedicated to giving back to the community and volunteers for organizations such as Autism Speaks, Boys & Girls Haven, and WHAS Crusade for Children.
Ruby Leigh
16-year-old Ruby Leigh from Foley, Missouri, is a talented young country singer who has shared the stage with Vince Gill, the Time Jumpers, Mickey Gilley, and Johnny Lee, as well as doing pre-shows for Clint Black and Tracy Lawrence. She also had the opportunity to perform on stage at a Lorrie Morgan performance.
