SEATTLE, WASHINGTON: Netflix's 'Love is Blind' Season 5 star Aaliyah has been focussing on her growth after the show. The star is seen devoting her time to writing and singing songs. She has uploaded quite a few videos of her singing on social media.

We saw Aaliyah self-eliminating herself from 'Love is Blind' Season 5 after learning about Uche Okoroha's past. She was shocked knowing that Uche, whom she claimed to love in the pods, dated Lydia Arleen, her best friend in the pod, in the past.
Aaliyah was okay with Lydia and Uche having a past. But what struck her the most was that they reconciled a few months before the show started filming and Uche was hideous to Aaliyah about the reveal.
Therefore, 'Love is Blind' Season 5 star decided to not participate in the messy love triangle and instead walk out of the drama. She decided to not get her heart broken and left the show.
'Love is Blind' star Aaliyah shocked over Uche and Lydia having sex 3 months ago
Uche came clean by revealing to Aaliyah that he and Lydia had a past fling. However, what he failed to mention was that they reconciled their physical relationship a few months before the show started filming.
Aaliyah claimed, "You had sex 3 months ago, and I'm supposed to feel like that's no big deal." She further added, "I don't like that. I would never put myself in a situation like this in my actual life."
Aaliyah further continued, "I don't know if I can handle this situation." Aaliyah made it clear that she did not want to go into a marriage or an engagement feeling doubtful.
The star broke into tears as she took in the fact that Uche and Lydia slept with each other just a few months ago.
Does 'Love is Blind' Season 5 star Uche have feelings for his ex Lydia?
Uche got the chance to reconcile his relationship with Lydia when he came into the pod. However, he chose to not take things ahead with Lydia and instead explore other options.
When Aaliyah asked Uche whether he still loves his ex Lydia, he cleared, "I don't have any feelings for Lydia." he continued, "If I wanted to be in a relationship with Lydia, I would be in a relationship with Lydia."
Uche believes while he and Lydia was in a relationship she was 100% into him but he couldn't return the same feelings.
Therefore, he decided to part ways knowing that he couldn't reciprocate her love for him.
Will 'Love is Blind' Season 5 star Aaliyah reconcile with Uche?
In the preview clip, we can see Uche calling Aaliyah after she has left the show without saying anything to him. On the call he is seen saying, "I wanna spend the rest of my life with you."
He is further seen meeting Aaliyah, claiming, "We have a lot to talk about." This hints that Aaliyah might agree to give their relationship a second chance knowing that Uche is still into him.
As of now, it is unknown whether Uche and Aaliyah will get married towards the end of the season.
