GALVESTON, TEXAS: The Momin family of Spring, Texas is anxiously seeking answers after their 19-year-old daughter, Amtul Momin, went missing during a supposed enjoyable outing in Galveston over the weekend. Amtul Momin was last spotted near her vehicle at a Wendy's located along Seawall Boulevard, close to 24th Street.

The 19-year-old had spent Saturday, August 5, delighting in the amusements of Pleasure Pier, accompanied by her family and fellow mosque members. According to a family friend, the day took a worrisome turn when Amtul decided to change her shoes after getting them wet on a ride. She headed towards her car, situated approximately a block away, just before 8 pm. This marked the last instance she was seen.

Who is Amtul Momin?

Described as responsible and the eldest of four girls, Momin's sudden absence has sent shockwaves through her family and the community. She had been enjoying a day at Pleasure Pier with her mother and siblings, but when she failed to return, concern escalated rapidly.

With deep concern, Amtul's loved ones took to the streets of Galveston Island on Sunday, plastering missing person signs in a bid to locate her. Simultaneously, they sought any available surveillance footage that might shed light on the events leading to her disappearance.

Surveillance Footage Raises Questions

The Wendy's surveillance video captured Amtul Momin's attempt to access her vehicle, yet it remains unclear whether she managed to enter. Her phone was discovered beside her car, and her scarf was found nearby. At the time of her disappearance, Amtul Momin was dressed in a navy blue shirt.

The restaurant promptly turned over the footage to the police for further investigation. Efforts to locate the 19-year-old Momin continue, with authorities and loved ones working tirelessly to piece together the events surrounding her vanishing act.
