UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA: When 'The Voice' Season 24 singer Caitlin Quisenberry delivered her captivating country performance, it left the former One Direction singer, Niall Horan, silently regretting his decision not to turn his chair for her.

The coach couldn't help but feel remorse for passing on the opportunity to work with the Season 24 contestant of 'The Voice.'

Caitlin, a singer, stated that her grandmother died when she was training to be a lawyer. Caitlin sang at her grandmother's bedside and realized her passion for singing.

"I'm gonna be singing to my grandma today," the competitor added during the Blind Audition round, adding that her grandmother would be proud of her for pursuing her ambition.

'The Voice' Season 24 contestant Caitlin Quisenberry's LA move backfires

Caitlin identified herself on Spotify as "a devoted wordsmith, songstress, and rule-breaking creative."

Caitlin Quisenberry's background is rooted in her family's religious ties as the daughter of a small Baptist church minister in Colorado.

However, her father later transitioned into entrepreneurship, and Caitlin often accompanied him to business events. Observing the challenges and fluctuations in managing a family business led her to yearn for a more stable and comfortable life.

This desire was amplified during her time in Los Angeles, where she pursued a career in acting and singing but faced numerous rejections, causing a decline in her confidence as an artist.

Despite her academic success, graduating at the top of her class at Pepperdine University and being accepted into law school, a pivotal moment came when her grandmother, who had encouraged Caitlin to sing in church during her younger years, fell ill.

Her grandmother's urging led Caitlin to make the life-altering decision to relocate to Nashville instead of pursuing a legal career.
