MIAMI, FLORIDA: MLS presenter Kaylyn Kyle has issued an apology after making a claim about Bruce Arena, the coach of New England Revolution, on social media. The apology comes after Kyle's assertion on Sirius XM's 'The Football Show' that Arena had been placed on leave due to a racial slur directed towards an individual within the club.

Taking to both Twitter and Instagram, Kyle expressed regret over her earlier statement, seeking to clarify her remark. In her apology, she acknowledged any misunderstanding caused by her initial comment.

‘I had no basis to say what I said on the show’

The 71-year-old Arena, a seasoned coach with previous experience guiding the United States national team, had been placed on leave by the New England Revolution.

The club initiated this action as Major League Soccer (MLS) commenced an investigation into allegations of "insensitive and inappropriate remarks."

The nature of these remarks has not been fully disclosed, and Arena has refrained from making any public comments regarding the ongoing investigation.

Kyle said in her statement on social media. “On yesterday's episode of The Football Show on Sirius XM, I made improper and inaccurate remarks about the basis for MLS's review of Bruce Arena.

The league's investigation - of which I have no knowledge or first-hand information relates to allegations that the coach made insensitive remarks. I had no basis to say what I said on the show”.

She continued, saying, “I understand that words have an impact and I apologize for my actions. I spoke carelessly and should have been more mindful of my words”.
