The weekend trip is for Nandi to unwind and keep her mind away from her husband back home, and to focus on herself and her own pleasures, which she takes quite seriously.

After a lust-filled affair with a young man, Nandi’s life changes completely. Her best friend is discovered dead, her marriage is on the edge of a cliff, and she can’t trust anyone anymore. Netflix will bring ‘Fatal Seduction’ to your screens on July 7, 2023, with a stellar cast and 14 episodes, which will keep you glued to your seats for a thrilling binge-watch.

The cast of ‘Fatal Seduction’

Kgomotso Christopher

Christopher will be playing the lead character Nandi, who will be the center of attention in ‘Fatal Seduction’. Christopher is a seasoned soap opera actress in the South African television industry, and this move to Netflix’s thriller side will be an interesting switch for the actress. By the looks of it, Christopher plays Nandi’s character with a mix of sexiness and simplicity. You can watch more of Christopher in ‘Isidingo’ and ‘Zulu Wedding’.

Prince Grootboom

Jacob Tau will play the young man who will be seducing Nandi on the weekend getaway. Grootboom is more than just eye candy in ‘Fatal Seduction’ as his character has a lot of depth which unfolds as the series progresses. Grootboom is best known for being a talented dancer in South Africa, and ‘Fatal Seduction’ is set to be his big Netflix debut, and his biggest break so far, but you can also watch him in ‘802: Love Defies Time’.

Thapelo Mokoena

Mokoena will be playing Leonard Mahlati, Nandi’s husband. At first, this role might not seem as crucial considering the focus is on the weekend getaway, the affair, and the murder. But, Mokoena’s role in ‘Fatal Seduction’ is an important one, and one to look out for. You can see more of Mokoena in ‘A Royal Surprise’, ‘Mrs Right Guy’, ‘Nothing for Mahala’, and ‘Broken Vows’ amongst other titles.

Lunathi Mampofu

Mampofu is a crucial part of ‘Fatal Seduction’s plot as she plays the role of Brenda Grootboom, who is Nandi’s best friend, and one of the main reasons Nandi ends up in an affair. Although Mampofu’s screen time will be limited since her character’s death has already been established, it doesn't diminish her importance on the show. More of her work can be seen in ‘Kings of Jo'Burg’ and ‘The Good Man’.

Nat Ramabulana

Ramabulana plays Vuyo Mahlati, Leonard’s brother. Although not a lot about this character has been given away yet, it looks like he will be important in the murder investigation and in Nandi’s life in the later half of the series. You can also watch Ramabulana in ‘Gangster's Paradise: Jerusalema’, ‘The Good Lie’, ‘Blood Diamond’, and ‘438 Days’.
