LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Platonic', an Apple TV+ comedy series, will have 'Neighbors' stars Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne reuniting with director Nick Stoller. The 10-episode series will drop the first three episodes on May 24. 'Platonic' is co-created, directed, and co-written by Stoller and Francesca Delbanco. The comedy series follows a pair of former best friends who reconnect many years after they had a falling-out as children. When their path cross, the reignited friendship becomes all-consuming and hilariously destabilizing.
'Platonic' is produced by Sony Pictures Television, where Stoller and Stoller’s Global Solutions has an overall deal. Byrne is collaborating for the second time with the tech giant's streaming paltform after 'Physical'.
