Ludwig asserted that the individual was not a 'good car thief'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ludwig, a YouTube gaming celebrity, gathered his team for the most recent edition of his podcast, 'The Yard'. The streamer's stolen car was one of the primary subjects of discussion. The team presented a video of the thief, who demanded $10,000 from them, and described how they located the 1997 Subaru Sambar minivan.

Ludwig asserted that the individual was not a "good car thief" while describing how they were able to recover the vehicle on the latest episode of his podcast.

‘The car was at Jin's Massage’

Slime, a podcast member, offered more information regarding the circumstance, saying, “So the car was at Jin's Massage, it gets called in. The cops come and it gets towed. Someone reportedly saw the guy see what was going on and take off. Which is really funny. But what he also did is he got a license plate from a different car. So he's unscrewed a license plate from like a Jetta and put it on.”

For those who don't know, Ludwig disclosed on March 2 that he was able to locate his car thanks to community members on social media sites, including Reddit and Twitter. The former Twitch streamer spoke about his friend, Nick Yingling, for searching for the minivan by traveling to "random locations" across Los Angeles.

‘Give me $10,000’

Ludwig, Slime, Nick and Aiden shared a video of them confronting the thief who had stole the YouTuber's minivan around the 24-minute point of the podcast's episode. The culprit sought $10,000 to return the minivan, which Slime underlined.

In the beginning of the video, the perp says, “You give me $10,000 and then you could try. How's that?! Give me $10,000!” Slime explained the circumstances surrounding the thief's requests and stated that "something happened" at the time.

“He says, 'I want $10,000 right now and I'll give it back.' And so, at this point, it's like, 'What the f**k?' It's like, obviously something happened,” he said.

The thief stated that someone "owed" him money as he said, “Bring $10,000 right here and then you can try it out. Okay? I don't give a f**k! Somebody owes me money, where I got it from. Okay? (Someone asks where he got the car) That's irrelevant! Okay?!”

The individual, Ludwig jokingly said, "built up some confidence" while chatting with the team. Slime answered by stating that the man chose to bargain after seeing there would not be a violent altercation. “He realized we weren't going to put hands on him. We, like... and so he starts being able to negotiate. Like, there's just, like, the social energy that happens in situations like this. It's also, like, when, like, you're in a fight or people are fighting, it's like, you can tell who's trying to break up the fight,” Slime said.
