LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: True crime has reached its all-time high popularity amongst audiences who are curious about the nitty-gritty of real crime stories. NBC 'Dateline' is perhaps one of the most well-known and widely watched true crime shows that investigates down to the very last detail of crimes that have happened all over the country.

NBC is currently airing the Season 31 of the true crime show. New episodes have been airing every Friday on the network. However, this week we will be getting another rerun episode instead of a new one.

The new episode number 41 was supposed to air Friday, July 7 after the rerun episode of the Jane Bashara murder case. But it seems like they have decided to do another rerun from Season 29 this week. The episode that will have a rerun on the network is titled "The Life She Wanted". The description on the official website says: "When a young mother is reported missing, detectives learn she was last seen being handcuffed and led into an unmarked car by a mysterious blonde woman." It will be covering the kidnapping and murder case of Sherri Dally and will be reported by Josh Mankiewicz from Ventura, California.
