She was remembered as a bright member of the Wild 'N Out family and a devoted mother to her three lovely children. She was 32 when she died in Miami on Wednesday, May 31.
There have been reports regarding the late star's final moments as the tributes to her flow in. Jacky had gone to Miami for a "mommy makeover" before she died quite suddenly, Page Six reports. Before having surgery, the former 'Wild 'N Out' girl posted a photo with well-known surgeon Dr Zachary Okhah that has since been deleted. "Getting ready for my mommy makeover with Dr Zach!! Jacky, whose real name is Jacklyn Smith, grinned as she stood next to the surgeon, who was dressed in black scrubs, while only putting on a disposable medical gown.
Who are Jacky Oh's children?
According to reports, DC Young Fly, 31, learned about Jacky's death while he was in Atlanta recording fresh episodes of the Nick Cannon-produced improv show 'Wild 'N Out.' The 'House Party' star and Jackyfirst met when working on 'Wild 'N Out' in 2015 and have three children together - girls Nova and Nala and a boy Prince, who was born last year.
Nova
Nova, their first child, was born in October 2016—about a year after Jacky and DC started dating. The founder of the J Nova Collection has made a lot of public comments about becoming a mother and how grateful she is for her six-year-old. In a very recent instance, on April 2, 2023, Jacky shared a TikTok video of her singing as they were on a road trip to her daughter's Instagram account. Recently, on May 27, 2023, the stunning star took her entire family to see 'The Little Mermaid,' which she recorded and uploaded to her YouTube account. The mother of three and her daughters sported matching mermaid dresses to see the movie. She most recently commemorated Mother's Day on May 13, 2023, by publishing several images of her family. "i do a lot . but being a mommy is my favorite God chose me 3X I promise i never take it for granted . Im so damn blessed man! Happy Mother’s Day mommys :)," she said about the post.
A BET Media Group spokesperson also posted a message on Instagram following the death of the creator of J Nove lip gloss. "We are deeply saddened by the passing of Jacklyn Smith, known to the world as Jacky Oh, a talented Wild N’ Out family member whose impact will be forever treasured and missed,” the statement said. The spokesperson called Jacky a "loving friend and beloved colleague of the Wild N’ Out." "More importantly, she was a tremendous mother to three beautiful children."
