xQc reacted to Pokimane's claim that female creators are scared to stream because of the judgment they receive online for their appearance

AUSTIN, TEXAS: Felix "xQc" and Pokimane's ongoing clash doesn't seem like it's going to end anytime soon. Pokimane discussed female content creators' experiences in the streaming industry on June 26, which likely didn't sit well with xQc. She even shared an instance when a female streamer told her that she was "way too scared" to broadcast without makeup after looking at the community's reaction to Pokimane.

When xQc heard this on one of his latest streams, he contradicted Pokimane's claims, asserting that male content creators get "more" criticism for their appearance. Let's have a look at what xQc had to say about Pokimane's views.

'More male creators get s**t on for their looks'

In a now-deleted post on the r/LivestreamFail subreddit, a clip was shared in which Pokimane is seen talking about the "sad truth" about how the treatment she received from the online community has deterred other female content creators. xQc discovered Pokimane's statement about 50 minutes into his broadcast and said, "Can I be honest, Chat? Guys... maybe I'm not right about this. I see, by ratio, more male creators getting s**t on for their looks. For, like, the most edited, like baldness, scuffness, garbage, by their own viewers than I see it to female creators. Wait, am I wrong about that?"

'That's so f**king sad'

Pokimane shared "honest opinions" about the hurdles female streamers must face of persistent opposition for criticizing the streaming platform Kick. Moreover, she has faced her fair share of criticism in the past, whether it be for going makeup-free on a stream or making her own VTuber avatar, the most recent complaint against her has sparked a heated online debate.

The streamer believes she has been unfairly harassed as a result of her opinion, with many social media users and even other streamers criticizing her attitude in a way that her fans have dubbed "sexist and misogynistic." In a broadcast on June 26, Pokimane seemed to address the criticism when she talked about the "sad truth" of being a female streamer. She said, "You know what the sad truth is? The way that people treat me deters any other woman in the space from genuinely talking about their honest opinions or behaving how they probably really want to, because they recognize the treatment that they can expect" "I will never forget one time, I had a girl come up to me, and she was like, 'Oh, I stream sometimes,' She basically said, 'I'm way too scared to stream without makeup because I saw what people did to you' I was like, that's so f**king sad," stated Pokimane.
