Twitch streamers and viewers have repeatedly criticized the platform in recent years for failing to take down the increasing prevalence of sexual content on the site. xQc, one of the streamers, also slammed the purple platform and claimed that it is turning into an adult site with several OnlyFans models joining it

Twitch launched a new category for the adult content called Pools, Hot Tubs, and Beaches, however, this simply saw streamers who had previously occupied the Just Chatting section migrate over there without modifying their material.

xQc criticized Twitch

While they are not permitted to market it directly on Twitch, xQc alleges that a number of streamers publish content on sites such as OnlyFans and Fansly, giving the streaming service an adult site reputation.

The Twitch celebrity was responding to a YouTube video in which OnlyFans models discussed their earnings in comparison to other creators. One of the candidates in the video mentioned that they also use Twitch to stream, leading xQc to send a message to any Twitch higher-ups who were watching.

xQc said, “Oh man, Twitch got thrown under the bus like that. Ay yo Twitch exectuvies, you hear that? Are you happy? That’s what happens when the categories get flipped and then s**t becomes so popular, it’s like the gateway,” DEXERTO reported.

“I go and people say ‘What do you do? I play games. Where? Twitch. They say ‘Oh so you play games with your c**k out? You play games naked?’ and that’s just weird now,” the streamer said.

Twitch ban streamers

Several streamers have been banned in the past for wearing revealing clothing, but the bans don't last long. Even the longest non-permanent ban, which was imposed on Indiefoxx, was reversed.

Some of these streamers have also gone to Kick, where the regulations regarding explicit content appear to be even more lax. It's unclear whether Twitch will take action anytime soon, but it's evident xQc isn't a fan.
