xQc reacted to Adept's Twitch ban, denying his involvement in Purple platform's decision

QUEBEC, CANADA: xQc retaliated after Adept, his ex-girlfriend, was banned from the purple streaming platform Twitch. He clearly denied his involvement in Twitch’s decision.

Adept’s channel was originally banned on October 4, 2023, and news quickly spread online. xQc responded to the news of Adept’s first ban roughly 20 minutes into his stream.

He claimed that a “bunch of harassment was done” but insisted that he had no say in the streamer’s first-ever expulsion from the platform.

After receiving the news of Adept’s ban, xQc discussed it during his livestream and stated, “For the record, you know, I didn’t have anything to do with it. Like, things happened naturally in a logical outcome.”

He continued, “Right? It’s like if you put water and you raise the temperature to 150 degrees or whatever. It’s probably going to start boiling. You know? So, there was water and heat, and then it boiled. You know?”

The former Overwatch player later read a discussion thread on the r/LivestreamFail subreddit concerning the ban.

He made the following observation after reading some of the fan speculation in the online community, “Yeah, there was a bunch of harassment done. A bunch of f**king... just doxing and just leaking s**t for no f**king reason! It’s just ridiculous."

"I don’t even understand why it’s all a thing. But, regardless, that’s done with. Yeah, I don’t even...” he added.

The Twitch star went on to say, “I just wanted to make sure that people understand that this is out of the way entirely. Okay, chat?"

He added, "That I had nothing to do with, like, going out of my way and getting somebody banned because I have a platform. It’s not like that. If you’re wrong, you’re just wrong.”

The French-Canadian personality continued by stating that the situation had turned “malicious” and “it was really malicious, too. But, it is what it is.”

xQc reacts to leaked private messages

After a three-day break, xQc returned to his channel and discussed the current situation with him and his ex-girlfriend, Adept.

On September 30, Adept posted a message on Instagram with the caption, “Any streamers out there that are desperate enough to have sex with their head moderators when they’re lonely... don’t talk about it with them over Discord."

He added, "There are probably receipts out there. So cringe. So embarrassing.”

She also provided a screenshot from Discord that she said showed xQc talking to an unknown person.

She remarked, “Preaching about life ‘choices’ when you choose to pay your mod thousands to f**k you? You know what... you’re right. You got me. I forgot... wrist, house... etc.”

xQc responded to the outcry and Adept’s exposure of his private messages on October 1, 2023.

He said that it appeared that the other had recorded his phone and Discord discussions while taking more than 700 images with his phone.

xQc stated, “Okay, I don’t give a f**k anymore. I’ll say how it is. I need you to understand - 700! Okay? And now, a lot of things were said in the past by other parties and s**t that.”

He concluded, “I’m sure, now these days, you can start piecing it together when things like, ‘Oh yeah, I’ve got receipts. Yeah, I’ve got this. Yeah, I’ve got that.’ Yeah, cool, bro! Cool man, that is fantastic, of course!”
