xQc stumbled upon a comment that drew a comparison between his and Kai Cenat's content

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: On October 30, 2023, popular Twitch and Kick streamer xQc engaged in a heated discussion with his fans during a livestream.

As xQc was browsing his official subreddit, where the community was evaluating the quality of his recent broadcasts, he stumbled upon a comment that drew a comparison between his content and that of Kai Cenat.

The comment read, "I cannot fathom how low of an IQ people who say xQc is the Streamer of the Year over Kai have. The quality of content really isn't on the same level."

To provide some context, Kai Cenat has recently gained recognition as the two-time recipient of the 'Streamer of the Year' award. Fans in the comment section were debating that xQc's content doesn't meet the standards set by Cenat.

Furthermore, xQc finds himself amidst a debate where some of his fans contend that his recent live broadcasts have displayed lower effort.

xQc asks his Twitch chat to 'stop it'

In a recent Twitch livestream, xQc came across a Reddit conversation where a user was comparing the quality of his stream to Kai Cenat's. This caught xQc off guard, and he openly expressed his bewilderment at his community for setting what he perceived as "fake goals."

xQc exclaimed, "Oh, my god, man! Oh F**king idiots, stop it! Guys, who even said anything about that? I'm just confused. Who's even talking about that?! Why do you guys make fake goals?"

Amidst the ongoing debate surrounding the quality of his content and the frequent comparisons to Kai Cenat, xQc made the decision to temporarily halt his livestream and create a pause to recalibrate the overall atmosphere.

"Now, we've got to stop. Okay? All right, today chat, we've got to stop the stream. Guys, I'll do a one-minute monologue so that we get; let's just reset the brain for the rest of the future of the stream. Okay? One-minute rant."

Initially, xQc addressed newcomers to his content, emphasizing that there has never been a set goal for his streams.

xQc stated, "I know some of you guys are new here, okay? I get it, some of you guys are not used to the stream. Okay? Because you're new here. Okay? There has never been a goal for this stream. Okay? There has never been a sub-goal."

He added, "There's never been a viewer goal. A follower goal. An award goal. There has never been any of this s**t! I just go live and we just kind of do whatever. Okay?"

xQc stressed that if he had cared about achieving certain channel goals and milestones, he would have done it years ago.

xQc asserted, "So when you guys are pressed about, 'Oh, my god, this sub-count!' 'Oh, my god, this view-count!' 'Oh, my god, this award!' Guys... even if I told you I don't care, right? You can say 'Cap' or whatever."

He continued, "If I cared, I would've done these things a million years ago. We would've had a sub-goal. We would've done this and that. We would've done all these things to get there."

Moreover, xQc underscored that the occurrences on his livestream are entirely spontaneous and not predetermined objectives.

He explained, "The thing is that - the things that happen are just coincidental. Whether they just happen or not is something that we do. And, I don't make it a goal because all these things are side products."

xQc then shared his perspective on awards, stating, "Everything that is a height. Anything that is an award or whatever, they're all side products. And, for the longest time, me just going live was good enough to do these things. Right? And, cool! I'm really happy about that."

He further said, "Why do you think I don't f**king hold all the awards we got? I only got one trophy here. Because I really don't care about them! It's not what it's about."

In his closing remarks, xQc implored his fans not to draw comparisons between him and others. He stated, "So, stop trying to hold these things above me like, 'Oh, dude, we're not this. We're not that!' I don't give a f**k!"

Internet reacts to xQc's claims on Twitch chat involving Kai Cenat

After viewing xQc's livestream clip in which he interacted with his Twitch chat, numerous fans inundated the comment section to express their opinions.

One fan said, "This is just life, you have highs and lows every year, and most people die alone and never achieve anything, X is right that comparing other people to him is just stupid, just be happy that he goes live and enjoy what's now, he's a human not some robot for your entertainment 24/7."

Another fan said, "How are people comparing a dude that reacts and reacts only to someone who actually does stuff here and then." A fan said, "Kai comes from the YouTube scene so he’s obviously more likely to come up with wild ideas for stream because he’s more of a traditional entertainer whereas X just does literally whatever he wants."

One more user said, "XQC and Kai make different content, what a f**king regard." Another user said, "He's right. We have peaks and valleys. Weird that people compare."
