xQc defended MrBeast's charity work, responding to FACE Africa CEO Saran Kaba Jones' criticism of the 100 wells project in Africa

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Prominent online personality Felix "xQc" responded to the uproar around Jimmy "MrBeast's" recent charitable endeavor during a Kick livestream. To put things in perspective, the YouTuber helped build 100 wells in Africa.

On November 8, 2023, however, the material maker received criticism. FACE Africa CEO Saran Kaba Jones stated, "Overnight, this person comes along, who happens to be a white male figure with a huge platform, and all of a sudden, he gets all of the attention. It's kind of frustrating."

xQc's reply to Saran Kaba Jones

While viewing YouTuber "Ludwig" Ahgren's Mogul Mail video, "Why MrBeast is Getting Cancelled," xQc became aware of the remarks made by Saran Kaba Jones previously cited.

When the 27-year-old saw this, he was shocked and said, "What's frustrating about that? Is it frustrating that white people get attention? Huh?"

The Kick and Twitch streamer continued, stating that the "current meta" is not being white, "Guys, I'm sorry for y'all white people in the chat. Okay? Currently, the meta is not white. Okay? We're currently off-meta."

He further added, "You kind of have to play cool (for) a bit. Okay? We'll, maybe, come back down the line maybe later. Right now, we're off-meta. So, everybody has got to chill."

xQc criticized Meta

Following his declaration that being a white person is not the "current meta," xQc visited the Kick chat room to see comments from followers.

Then he explained that he was acting in an "ironic" manner and wondered why his listeners weren't "catch sarcasm," "Guys, I'm f*****g kidding! Guys, it's ironic. Why do you guys not catch sarcasm?"

He went on to say, "It's, like, obvious in your face. Okay? I'm just saying - anytime there's something... bro, it's just been, like, people put the 'white' in front of everything!"

The former Overwatch pro went on to describe what he considered to be "weird" and "odd," adding, "Like, every word possible. Every status that people say, it's either 'white this' or 'white that.'"

"Like, it has to be, 'Oh, this is good. But, it has been achieved by somebody who's white. So, got to notch it down a little bit.' I think that's weird as f**k! I think it's odd!"
