LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: When it comes to being a mother, Sara Haines is incredibly candid and open about her life, whether it was on 'The View' or social media, especially Instagram. While Ana Navarro often posts about her dog and politics, Alyssa Farah Griffin is all about her husband and dog, and Whoopi Goldberg does not post at all, Haines’ Instagram is a quick reflection of her life at home.
Haines and her husband, Max Shifrin, have three children – Alec, Sandra, and Caleb. Her Instagram is a mixed bunch, and most recently she provided some advice to first-time parents in a video titled '5 things I wish I knew Before I Became a Parent'.
‘You can do it!’
Haines’ posted a heartwarming video of her with her children with certain pointers of things she wished she knew before becoming a parent. The video has 'Never Grow Up' by Taylor Swift in the background. The video itself has text which entails the pointers given by Haines. The first was, “As you have more kids, no one is replaced; your heart merely expands.” The second was, “Being a parent is 24/7 exposure therapy for all your triggers…and you can do it!” The third pointer read, “You can hold two diametrically opposed feelings at one time.” The fourth pointer said, “I would need to shield anything I am eating to avoid the possibility of little people wanting to take it (…and then willingly handing it over because they are too damn cute.)” The final pointer was, “The “birth” of the mama is, in some ways, more transformative than actually giving birth.” During the entire video, Haines was seen snuggling with all three of her children, and fans could not stop swooning over the video's wholesomeness.
‘This sums it all up!’
