It was reported earlier that Rihanna had signed a $39 million contract with Live Nation and was planning a major world tour through 2024 and 2025

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Rumors of Rihanna planning an tour and signing a multi-year deal with concert giant Live Nation are "bogus", reports said.

London-based Daily Mirror, on October 22, reported that the 'We Found Love' singer had signed a $39 million contract with Live Nation and was planning a major world tour for two years through 2024 and 2025.

On October 23, Entertainment Tonight also reported that the singer was "planning a world tour for 2024/2025 after striking a deal with Live Nation."

High-level source denies Rihanna's tour rumor

However, a high-level source denied the claims to Billboard, saying that a $39 million deal with the concert giants seems made up and "no tour has been confirmed for Rihanna."

The source also said Live Nation or their rival AEG would happily book and promote a global tour for the 'Bitch Better Have My Money' singer. However, she has not committed to such projects for the upcoming year.

Rihanna did her last world tour in 2016 after releasing 'Anti.' She did not perform in a commercial concert after the final stop of the 2016 tour in Abu Dhabi on November 27, 2016

With 14 No1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, Rihanna is one of the most commercially successful singers in the world.

The 35-year-old singer gave birth to her second child, Riot Rose, with rapper A$AP Rocky, in August, making the tour rumors less credible.

'I knew it,' Rihanna fans react to the tour rumor being a 'bogus'

Fans of Rihanna are disheartened to learn the 'Lift Me Up' singer has no plans for a world tour.

A disappointed fan said, "I knew it."

"I knew it was too good to be true," said a second user.

Another user shared a similar opinion, "That sounds too good to be true."

"She should better make it happen, we miss her," said a fourth user.

Another user said, "Well… let us dream."

"Make it happen..." said a fan.

One user said, "We need it to be true."

"We can’t have anything," said a user.

While another one stated, "don't do this to me..."
