'First ever follower'

Mizkif connected with the said fan on a call. During the live stream, the follower asked Mizkif, "Did you play Warlords of Draenor?" 'Warlords of Draenor' was the fifth expansion of 'World of Warcraft' released in 2014. Mizkif replied, "Yeah, I played Warlords of Draenor."

As the conversation continued, the follower stated, “Cause I'm trying to think if I found you in the WoW section or I saw you outside of Stormwind. I thought I saw you outside Stormwind." Stormwind is a location in the game.

Mizkiff asked, "So you found me outside Stormwind and did I ask you to follow me?" "I'm pretty sure you were spamming in general chat and in trade chat, just like, 'Yo I'm live,'” the follower replied.

'My friend used to do this'

The live stream was posted on Reddit and attracted comments from other fans. One wrote, “When I play League and someone spams "follow" tbh I do sometimes check out their channel just out of empathy. I don't stream but I can imagine what it feels like to throw a party and have no one show up.” Another commented, “I don’t like the spamming aspect, but if they do post it once or twice I check it out. It’s fun to quickly see the face of who I was actually playing with regardless if they’re a good streamer or not.” A third said, “My friend used to do this, but he would only get viewers on loses when someone wanted to keep flamming. Made him quit the game and streaming lol."
